Moments of life
As a photographer I once thought capturing moments may seem possible. Today I know it's not. If I could in fact freeze time, I would still be 24, my mother would still be alive, I'd have no white hair, my way of life would still be clear, and many magical experiences would still be here laying in my hands. If I would have frozen time, many of the good things I've accomplished wouldn't be here either. The very basic essence of life is linked and locked with the ongoing one-way shift from past to future. Even the most advanced technology offering attractive illusions of comfort and efficiency can't change the very basic ticking beat from birth to death. We cannot capture moments. We can preserve their meaning.
